Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Title

• Registered Nurse (Mother Baby / Labor and Delivery)

Location

• Silver City, NM

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, ASAP start

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns in a Labor and Delivery unit
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech or similar EMR systems
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality maternal and neonatal care
• Work weekends and holidays as required
• Float within the unit as needed, following hospital policies and standards
• Respond promptly to on-call duties, arriving within 30 minutes when scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active New Mexico or multi-state RN license
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHO
• Mother Baby or Labor and Delivery experience required
• Ability to work weekends and on-call shifts
• Proficiency with Meditech or comparable EMR preferred
• Candidates must be fully compliant and able to start immediately

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in critical access or small hospital settings
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to float as needed within the unit
