Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Job Title

• Registered Nurse (Med/Surg Float Pool)

• Clarksville, TN

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, flexing within the Med/Surg float pool

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within Medical-Surgical units, floating between multiple floors as needed
• Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and update electronic medical records (Cerner)
• Collaborate with healthcare team to plan and implement patient care plans
• Adhere to clinical protocols and safety guidelines
• Cover shifts on a rotating schedule, including weekends, with a focus on adult patient populations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN hospital experience, including prior travel experience preferred
• Valid Tennessee license or compact license on file at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Must have at least 5 months of recent Med/Surg experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating within Med/Surg units and ER
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment
• Strong patient communication and documentation skills
