Key Responsibilities

• Provide, coordinate, and direct comprehensive respiratory care to all patients based on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver individualized respiratory treatments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
• Adhere to all safety and clinical protocols within the scope of practice for a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with certifications and licensing requirements.
• Support a team-oriented environment and contribute to patient care excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Current Washington State license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Ability to work a 12-hour day shift.
• One year of current acute care experience preferred; new graduates considered.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist and from wheelchair to bed, lift 5 pounds overhead, and handle stretcher procedures.
• Adequate auditory and visual ability to perform clinical procedures and documentation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong OB (obstetrics) experience.
• Prior experience in an acute care setting.
• Ability to work independently once oriented.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to coordinate approved RTO, which must be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract.
