- Full-time, 13-week contract, Days shift, 8-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to acute care patients based on physician orders
- Support a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU, stroke/neurological, orthopedics, and general debility
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in electronic health records
- Ensure compliance with all safety and healthcare regulations
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational therapy
- Current Georgia state OT license
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems such as Cerner and ChartOne
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience supporting acute care patients in diverse medical settings
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
