Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical (12-Hour Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type
13-week contract, full-time, 3x12-hour night shifts per week, on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients during night shifts
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic charting system
- Follow facility protocols, including scrubs dress code and orientation requirements
- Assist with patient assessments, medication administration, and post-operative care
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Participate in patient and unit-specific needs, including weekend rotations
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska
- BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a similar medical-surgical setting
- ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, and SANE certifications are highly preferred
- Experience working with Cerner charting system
