Key Responsibilities
• Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases using advanced technology and medication delivery.
• Operate and monitor high-flow devices, ventilators, nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and other respiratory equipment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care procedures accurately in the Meditech system.
• Float to provide additional coverage on adult floors for therapies such as nebulization, BIPAP, and CPT as needed.

Required Qualifications
• Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care hospital RRT experience.
• Previous experience working in a NICU or PICU setting.
• Proficiency with Meditech documentation system.
• Valid State of Florida Respiratory Therapist license.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience with advanced respiratory procedures and technologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, change-adaptable environment.
• Strong team player with critical thinking skills and patient-centered approach.
