Key Responsibilities
• Provide occupational therapy services to acute care patients across a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU, neurological, orthopedic, and general debility cases.
• Support patient care from physician orders throughout the hospital, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Manage patient progress and document care using Cerner EHR system.
• Support acute care department operations, including coverage during scheduled weekends and holidays.

Required Qualifications
• Valid GA Occupational Therapist license.
• Recent (minimum 15-18 months) experience in an acute care setting.
• AHA BLS certification.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience supporting ICU, stroke, neurological, orthopedic, or general medical patients.
• Familiarity with hospital workflows and multi-diagnosis care.
