Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to acute care patients across a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU, neurological, stroke, dysphagia, respiratory, and cognitive conditions.
• Support patients based on physician orders, ensuring timely and effective intervention.
• Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Support a wide range of patient needs, including assessments and therapy for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment activities.
• Adhere to hospital policies and maintain compliance with licensing and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Georgia State License for Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 15-18 months of recent relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
• CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) preferred.
• Recent experience in acute care environments preferred, with familiarity in MBS/FEES being a plus but not required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in hospital or acute care settings.
• Proficiency in MBS/FEES procedures.
• Strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
