• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to renal and limb preservation patients in a 41-bed inpatient telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias, manage telemetry equipment, and respond to patient needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer treatments including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis as required
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
• Adhere to unit protocols, including float requirements and holiday coverage

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or valid Compact state license
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience, including telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NIH certifications preferred
• Ability to pass EKG testing prior to assignment start
• Must be willing to float within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with renal and limb preservation patients, ESRD, ARF, vascular procedures, CHF, diabetics, and diabetic foot ulcers
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system
• Prior travel nursing experience
