Job Title

• LVN / LPN - Medical Surgical (Nights, 13 Weeks)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, temporary contract, night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit during night shifts.
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and assist with procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective patient care and safety.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and changes in condition.

Required Qualifications

• Valid LVN or LPN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• IV skills and central line management.
• Experience with orthopedics, kidney transplant care, dialysis, or pulmonary units.
• Knowledge of wound care and medication administration, including PCA and wound VAC.
