Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with arteriograms and other specialized radiologic procedures under sterile conditions.
• Prepare examination areas, position patients, and operate complex radiology equipment.
• Circulate and record cardiac procedures; assist with patient care during procedures.
• Support on-call duties, including weekend, holiday, and after-hours coverage with response times of 30 minutes.
• Collaborate with the EP Lab team, including techs and physicians, ensuring smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and procedural protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that application has been initiated.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in EP or Cath Lab.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with EPIC-McKesson EMR system.
• Ability to work in a sterile environment and assist with specialized cardiac procedures.
• Must understand and adhere to drug-free campus policies and produce a negative drug screen.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology Lab.
• Ability to float between Cath Lab and IR as needed.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures and working in a fast-paced unit.
