- Full-time, 12-hour day or night shifts (3x12 hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric oncology patients across the treatment continuum, including new diagnoses, ongoing treatment, and end-of-life care.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data to ensure patient safety and early detection of clinical deterioration.
- Administer chemotherapy and other antineoplastic treatments following protocol and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized patient care plans.
- Ensure infection prevention measures and fall protocols are rigorously followed.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records using Epic or similar systems.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ohio RN license or eligible for compact license at time of application.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional nursing experience in an acute care oncology setting.
- Recent experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation.
- BLS certification required; Chemotherapy certification preferred.
- Ability to self-schedule and manage flexible shifts based on department needs.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in travel nursing or working in different healthcare facilities.
- Prior exposure to oncology patient populations and solid tumor cancers.
- Excellent skills in infection control and patient safety protocols.

Additional Details
- Shift options include day (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) and night (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) shifts.
- Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting prior to start date; urgent compliance deadline applies.
- Travel experience is preferred; candidates outside Ohio must comply with fingerprinting procedures in a timely manner.
- References required: 2 professional references, with at least one being a managerial or supervisory reference.
- Candidates must submit flexible RTO requests and adhere to all credentialing and compliance requirements.
