Registered Nurse ICU

Job Title

• Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), weekend rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care to patients in various ICU units, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, Cardiology, CVICU, SICU, and NCCU
• Float across multiple ICU units based on staffing needs, following unit acuity requirements
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and operate critical care equipment such as ventilators and telemetry systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards, including timely completion of credentialing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency in using EPIC electronic health record system
• Valid Compact or Ohio RN license in hand at the time of submission
• Must have IV start, telemetry, and ventilator management experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in diverse ICU settings, including neurology, surgical, medical, or cardiac ICUs
• Ability to adapt quickly to different ICU environments and workflows
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
