Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts (3x12 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients during night shifts
• Monitor and assess patients with complex conditions such as strokes, respiratory failure, chest pain, and sepsis
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize Epic electronic medical record system for documentation and order management
• Manage a dual-level care unit (telemetry/PCU/ICU) and adapt to overflow ICU cases
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to clinical protocols and standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years ICU experience
• PCU experience preferred
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
• Valid RN license in the state of Connecticut
• Certifications: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a primary stroke center
• Ability to handle multiple complex cases with varying acuity
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
