Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shift, 36 hours per week, 3x12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized telemetry nursing care to patients in a hospital setting
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to critical changes
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Document patient status and care activities accurately in electronic health records (EPIC)
• Rotate weekends and holidays as part of the schedule
Required Qualifications
• Active Connecticut (CT) nursing license (or compact license) required
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience in med/surg and telemetry
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with stroke and ortho care (preferred)
• Proficiency with electronic health records system (EPIC)
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a similar hospital environment
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
