Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, day shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM), 12.5-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in a busy operating room environment.
• Assist with orthopedic, robotic, general surgery, urology, vascular, endovascular, and basic neuro procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure adherence to hospital policies and protocols.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as DaVinci Robot, neurospine microscope, and hysteroscopy pumps.
• Participate in on-call coverage, including late stays, nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of perioperative or OR nursing experience.
• Experience with orthopedic, robotics, or general surgery procedures preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neuro surgery experience is a plus for call coverage.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
