Job Title

• Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical / Telemetry Float Pool – Night Shift

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, full-time, 13-week assignment, night shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting, floating across units as needed.
• Adapt to various acute care environments, including the hospital’s Northport location.
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and document care using Meditech EMR system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain high standards of safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license for the State of Alabama or a Compact license (no temporary licenses accepted)
• Associated degree in nursing (ASN or BSN)
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital float pool environment
• Ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
