Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, Night shift, 36 hours per week, working every other weekend and holiday rotation

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide bedside care for medical-surgical, telemetry, and stroke patients during night shifts
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions utilizing EPIC electronic charting system
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

  • Active and clear Connecticut RN license (or compact state license)
  • BLS certification
  • Stroke NIHSS certification (must be ONE year certification; two-year certifications are not eligible)
  • Minimum of 2 years inpatient acute care experience in med/surg, tele, or stroke units

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • At least 1 year of travel nursing experience in similar settings
  • Experience working with stroke patients and telemetry monitoring
  • Proficiency with EPIC charting system
