  • Full-time, night shifts, 36 hours per week, on-site

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit, including cardiac, neuro, and stroke patients
  • Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition promptly
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately
  • Float within skill set to other units as needed, ensuring continuity of patient care
  • Adhere to all safety, compliance, and hospital policies during shift

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Connecticut
  • Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry, PCU, or ICU experience
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • NIHSS certification required
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
  • Flexibility to work every other weekend and rotating holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience working in a specialized cardiac and neuro/stroke care environment
  • Ability to float within skill set and adapt to different units as needed
