- Full-time, night shifts, 36 hours per week, on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit, including cardiac, neuro, and stroke patients
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately
- Float within skill set to other units as needed, ensuring continuity of patient care
- Adhere to all safety, compliance, and hospital policies during shift
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Connecticut
- Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry, PCU, or ICU experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- NIHSS certification required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Flexibility to work every other weekend and rotating holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a specialized cardiac and neuro/stroke care environment
- Ability to float within skill set and adapt to different units as needed
