Key Responsibilities

  • Perform adult and pediatric outpatient CT imaging procedures, including abdomen, pelvis, chest, carotid, trauma head, cervical, lumbar, and musculoskeletal trauma.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media, ensure radiation safety, and follow infection control protocols such as isolation precautions.
  • Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture as needed.
  • Operate Siemens CT scanners and utilize advanced imaging techniques like 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction.
  • Document procedures accurately in electronic health records using EPIC.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety and credentialing requirements, including Ohio fingerprinting processes.

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT certification in CT and BLS certification.
  • Valid Ohio state licensure; for MRI techs, a state license is acceptable without Ohio licensure.
  • Recent experience with Siemens CT equipment.
  • Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with adult and pediatric outpatient imaging.
  • Knowledge of contrast media preparation and administration.
  • Ability to perform various CT procedures, including trauma imaging.

Additional Details

  • Daily caseload of approximately 40 patients.
  • Strict adherence to credentialing and fingerprinting deadlines, with a high sense of urgency in onboarding.
  • Travel compliance required; candidates outside Ohio within driving distance must complete fingerprinting promptly.
  • RTO (Request for Time Off) required with submission and built into the contract.
  • References: 2 professional references, including at least one from a supervisory or leadership role.
  • No current employees at the facility are eligible for travel assignment; former employees may reapply after 6 months away.
