Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week contract, nights (3x12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a busy ER environment, ensuring patient assessment, treatment, and documentation.
• Work scheduled night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including weekends, holidays, with flexibility to increase to 4x12-hour shifts if needed.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and float within the facility as required.
• Maintain certification compliance and adhere to hospital policies, including EMR documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Active state nursing license (pending with ETA acceptable)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications via AHA (CPI/CIC preferred; CPI can be obtained on-site for extended stays)
• Minimum of 2 years ER nursing experience; 3+ years preferred
• Experience with Meditech EMR system (preferred)
• Ability to complete required onboarding documents such as lab work within 72 hours of contract start
• Valid SSN and DOB (submitted upon offer acceptance)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience or first-time travelers with 3+ years ER experience considered
• Experience working with Meditech EMR system
