- Full-time, Contract, Night shifts (12 hours), On-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum settings.
- Support birthing processes and ensure patient safety and comfort during labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress, responding to emergencies as needed.
- Assist with neonatal procedures and support new mothers post-delivery.
- Comply with facility policies and maintain certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license.
- BLS and NRP certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in labor and delivery.
- Preferably possess true LDRP experience (labor, recovery, postpartum).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Nursery (Level II) experience.
- Experience as a baby nurse or delivering babies during labor.

Additional Information
- No floating required.
- Rotation includes every other weekend and one summer holiday, with holiday scheduling determined by unit needs.
- Includes 16 hours of non-billable orientation scheduled during the first week.
- Orientation will be completed over 2-3 days during daytime hours.
