Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services to adult and pediatric patients during night shifts.
- Operate and monitor advanced ventilator equipment, including GE R860, Draeger, Newport HT70, and high-flow oxygen devices.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical records system (Cerner).
- Follow unit policies, procedures, and safety protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Required Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Respiratory License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NRP certification
- Experience with neonatal/pediatric intensive care ventilation equipment
- Prior work in critical care or emergency settings
