Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients in an acute care setting.
• Float between various units as needed to support patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records using electronic health records.
• Work within established ratios to ensure quality patient care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and licensing requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Washington state license in occupational therapy (mandatory at the time of application).
• Acute care experience, with a preference for those with inpatient rehabilitation experience.
• Ability to float within the facility and work across multiple units.
• Current CPR certification.
• Pass travel compliance requirements, including submission of references and SSN last four digits.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level III trauma center or similar acute care environment.
• Familiarity with electronic charting systems, specifically Epic.
• Prior work at healthcare facilities associated with Providence or similar organizations.
• Strong communicate and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
