Registered Nurse Telemetry

• Registered Nurse - Telemetry / Step-Down

Schedule / Job Type

• Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in telemetry and step-down units within a Magnet and Teaching Hospital with Level I Trauma designation
• Monitor and respond to cardiac rhythms, including cardiac drips and EGG
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in the EPIC charting system
• Float within hospital units as needed to meet patient care demands
• Adhere to hospital policies and maintain compliance with all licensing and certification requirements

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri or appropriate compact state, in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of experience in telemetry or step-down units
• ACLS and BLS certifications (must be current)
• EPIC charting experience
• Ability to work night shift and rotate weekends every other week
• Willingness to float within scope to different units

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Magnet and Level I Trauma hospital setting
• Ability to pass fit testing without facial hair interference
• Experience with cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring
