Job Title

• Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist - RRT)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, every other weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and treatment to patients in various hospital departments including ED, ICU, Cath Lab, MS/TELE, and Urgent Care.
• Perform EKG/P/F exams and ensure compliance with facility-specific testing protocols.
• Complete required Healthstream modules and certifications prior to orientation.
• Float within hospital units as needed based on skill set and departmental needs.
• Adhere to local and travel compliance requirements, including NY State licensing and certification submissions.
• Follow specific guidelines for traveler candidates, including reentry restrictions and travel documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Valid NY State Respiratory Therapist license (required at time of submission).
• 2+ years of experience in a respiratory therapy role.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current at start date).
• Ability to pass the Relias EKG exam with 100% score within 72 hours of signing.
• Submit recent Nursys report and professional references.
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius only.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel respiratory therapy experience.
• Comfort with completing required modules and assessments.
• Experience working in hospital departments such as ED, ICU, Cath Lab, or MS/TELE.
