• Full-time, contract, days shift (3x12 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for adult medical-surgical and oncology patients on a 36- or 48-hour contract basis.
• Manage a patient ratio of approximately 4-5:1 during the day shift and 5-6:1 at night, ensuring quality patient care.
• Assist with telemetry monitoring, central line draws, blood administration, PCA pumps, port management, bone marrow aspirations, and PleurX chest tubes.
• Support chemotherapy administration and palliative care, including patient education and family support.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and accommodate schedule requests.

Required Qualifications

• WV or Compact RN license (pending license accepted for submission).
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a medical-surgical/oncology setting.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Certifications in telemetry, central line management, blood administration, PCA pumps (preferred: chemotherapy administration).
• Ability to meet the facility’s compliance standards, including flu vaccination (except where medically contraindicated).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and SSN, with documentation submitted upon application.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with chemotherapy administration.
• Familiarity with bone marrow procedures and PleurX chest tubes.
• Ability to work flexible hours and float within scope as needed.
