Key Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed occupational therapists in developing and implementing therapy plans
  • Provide direct patient care to support rehabilitation goals
  • Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment
  • Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment
  • Support patients in activities of daily living to promote independence

Required Qualifications

  • Valid license or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Prior experience working in a healthcare or therapy setting (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of therapy techniques and patient care procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Previous experience in outpatient or rehabilitation therapy
  • Familiarity with documentation and electronic health records systems
