Contract | Onsite | Mid Shift | Rotating schedules available, including 12-hour, 10-hour, 7-on/7-off, and weekend-only rotations; weekend and holiday requirements apply based on rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of CT scans on patients from infants through adults, including traumas, strokes, and both acute and ambulatory studies
- Operate within a multi-scanner department covering acute care, urgent care, emergency, and occasional outpatient settings
- Start and manage intravenous (IV) lines as required for contrast administration
- Utilize Cerner EMR and Siemens/SECTRA PACS for imaging documentation and workflow
- Work independently as the sole technologist on shift depending on rotation and time of day
- Adhere to department-specific orientation protocols, including competency-based training and organizational checklists
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience
- Experience in a Level 2 or higher trauma center
- Ability to perform IV insertions independently
- Must be able to clock in and out at the facility for all shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ARRT (CT) advanced certification preferred
- Experience operating Siemens and Toshiba 300+ slice CT scanners
- Comfort working independently with remote radiologist coverage during overnight hours
