Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (13 Weeks)

• El Paso, TX

Schedule / Job Type

• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, contract, travel

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Circulate during cesarean deliveries and assist with various obstetric procedures.
• Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs using GE fetal monitoring equipment.
• Support postpartum, antepartum, and outpatient services as needed.
• Adhere to unit policies including oxytocin protocols, maternal hemorrhage care, and hypertensive patient guidelines.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas or appropriate state.
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• Experience circulating for C-sections and managing obstetric patients.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Postpartum care background.
• Experience with OB procedures such as cerclage, D&C, inductions, and outpatient OB services.
• Knowledge of OB-related medications and emergency protocols.
