Contract | Nights | Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (with unpaid 30-minute lunch)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic polysomnographic studies including standard PSG and pediatric PSG (patients 2 years and older) with TCO2 monitoring
- Set up and manage CPAP, BiPAP, and ASV titration therapies during sleep studies
- Operate and document using sleep lab equipment and software systems including Natus, Somnoware, and ResMed AirCurve
- Work independently within a 6-bed sleep lab facility, maintaining a 2:1 patient-to-technologist ratio
- Complete thorough clinical documentation and charting in accordance with departmental standards
- Adhere to facility dress code; scrubs required (no specific color or style mandated)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential required
- Active CPR certification required
- Active Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- Must be able to pass a drug screening; position is located at a drug-free campus
- No minimum years of experience required, provided RPSGT credential is current and active
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with pediatric sleep studies and TCO2 monitoring
- Familiarity with Natus, Somnoware, or ResMed AirCurve platforms
- Experience working independently in a sleep lab environment
