Contract | Three 12-hour shifts per week | Day Shift | Traditional weekday and weekend rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a mixed acuity setting, caring for both ICU-level and progressive care patients on the same unit

• Care for ventilated patients, initiate and titrate IV drips including vasopressors, sedation, and paralytics

• Assist with intubations and line placement; monitor critically ill patients with diagnoses including sepsis, respiratory failure, renal failure, myocardial infarction, pulmonary embolism, and pneumonia

• Utilize unit equipment including cardiac monitors, EKG machines, Pyxis, dopplers, and Epic EMR

• Float as needed to other ICU, progressive care, and medical-surgical units while maintaining a maximum 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio

• Participate in a structured unit onboarding and orientation program upon start

Required Qualifications

• Valid Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Minimum of 1.5 years of ICU experience required

• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) only

• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) only

• Strong critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and flexibility to care for both ICU and progressive care patient populations

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience preferred

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred

• Experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 facility preferred
