Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
- Monitor and assess the condition of critically ill newborns, adjusting care plans as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments and interventions
- Communicate effectively with families regarding patient status and care plans
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Nursing, Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Additional certifications may be required based on unit-specific needs
- Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and assist with up to 100 pounds
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a NICU or neonatal care setting
- BSN degree preferred
- Specialty certifications relevant to neonatal intensive care
