Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes.
- Perform bedside diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Review and maintain respiratory care plans for assigned patients.
- Conduct patient evaluations and adjust care plans appropriately based on findings.
- Serve as a preceptor for students and new hires within the Respiratory Care department.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the NBRC.
- Current Indiana State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners.
- Current CPR certification.
- ACLS and NRP certifications required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire or transfer.
- Ability to be on call and lift up to 30 pounds.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- PALS certification.
- Stable certification.
