Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes.
- Perform bedside diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Review and maintain respiratory care plans for assigned patients.
- Conduct patient evaluations and adjust care plans appropriately based on findings.
- Assist as a preceptor for students and new hires.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC.
- Current Indiana State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners.
- Current certification in CPR.
- Must obtain or hold current ACLS and NRP certifications (or obtain within 6 months of hire).
- Must be able to be on call and able to lift up to 30 pounds.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- PALS and STABLE certifications are preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in a clinical respiratory therapy setting is a plus.
