Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) - Nights

• Travel, full-time, night shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to adult cardiac patients in a high-acuity CICU setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor complex cardiac cases and implement treatment plans.
• Floats to other units and hospitals as needed.
• Adhere to clinical protocols and maintain high standards of professional practice.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and a positive care experience.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or higher.
• Valid Registered Nurse license for the state of Alabama or a compact license.
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIH or Red Cross certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; 18 months considered with current licensure.
• At least 1 year of recent experience in critical care or the CICU.
• Willingness to float to other units/hospitals as required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification (if working in pediatric units).
• Experience working in a high-acuity cardiac environment.

• Hours per week: 36 hours (every other weekend, holidays as required).
• Worksite: Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
• Projected start date: May 11, 2026.
• Duration: 13 weeks.
• Work hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
