Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care across medical floors, adult critical care, and the emergency room

• Administer breathing treatments and secretion mobilization therapies

• Manage non-invasive and invasive ventilation, including support for intubation procedures

• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and assist with emergency respiratory interventions

• Draw and analyze arterial blood gases and obtain EKGs

• Float throughout the respiratory therapy department as needed, including to satellite locations

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required

• Active Oregon state respiratory therapy licensure required

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience

• Proficiency with ventilator management and non-invasive ventilation equipment

• Experience with computerized charting; familiarity with EPIC EMR preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV) and transport ventilators

• Familiarity with capnography monitoring and ETCO2 equipment

• Experience in adult critical care or emergency room respiratory therapy settings
