Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for individuals undergoing cardiac, radiologic, and/or surgical procedures
• Perform data entry for billing purposes and log case data into the department's digital archive
• Support diagnostic imaging services including Cardiac Cath and Interventional Radiology procedures
• Operate state-of-the-art imaging technology in collaboration with health care teams to facilitate accurate diagnoses
• Respond quickly and appropriately to urgent or emergent patient situations across diverse patient populations
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all applicable state and federal regulations pertaining to protected health information

Required Qualifications

• Current ARRT RT(R) credential required; if registry eligible, credential must be obtained within six (6) months of hire
• Current unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology required; new graduates must obtain temporary license upon hire and permanent license within six (6) months
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification required upon hire
• ACLS required within 90 days of hire for Cardiac Cath Lab assignments
• Effective written and oral communication skills with knowledge of medical terminology and records
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-stress environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• One (1) or more years of experience or training in a Cath Lab or Angio hospital setting
• Familiarity with customer service principles including needs assessment and quality standards in a healthcare environment
• Demonstrated sensitivity to diverse patient populations with a non-judgmental, patient-centered approach
