Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 15-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit maintaining a 5:1 patient ratio (maximum 6:1)
- Perform patient transfers using appropriate transfer equipment including Hoyer lifts and sliding boards
- Conduct bladder scans, dressing changes, and medication administration
- Complete accurate rehabilitation scoring documentation and bedside handoff reports
- Perform hourly rounding and ensure bed alarm activation per unit guidelines
- Float to Med-Surge, Telemetry, Renal, Urology, Orthopedic, and Overflow units as needed (ICU excluded)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated transfer training competency
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior inpatient rehabilitation nursing experience
- Experience with rehabilitation scoring documentation
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
