Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift – 12 Hours | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a med/surg unit serving general surgery patients and vascular overflow in a cardiovascular facility
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and EKG data for assigned patients
- Manage a full patient ratio while maintaining safe, high-quality nursing care
- Float to other units within the facility in an RN capacity as needed
- Adhere to weekend, holiday, and scheduling requirements as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must pass facility EKG competency test prior to start
- Experience in cardiovascular nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of RN experience, preferably in a cardiovascular or telemetry setting
- Prior experience with vascular or general surgery patient populations
