Registered Nurse ICU

Job Title

• Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU (CSICU/CSU)

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit.
• Monitor complex invasive hemodynamic parameters and assist in post-operative recovery.
• Float between units and hospitals as needed to support patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, including holiday and weekend schedules.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or a compact license (no temporary licenses accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in ICU, specifically CVICU.
• Certification in BLS and NIH or Red Cross CPR.
• Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts and float to other units and hospitals.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification (preferred for those working in pediatric units).
• Experience in cardiac, thoracic, vascular, or surgical critical care units.
