Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR Circulator)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts per week, variable start time | On-call required (8 shifts per month, including some weekends) | Holidays required on a rotating basis

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulating duties in the operating room across orthopedics, OB/GYN (including C-sections), and general surgery cases
• Maintain patient safety and advocate for the patient throughout the perioperative process
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective OR operations
• Float to procedural areas such as pain management and interventional radiology as needed
• Participate in on-call coverage, including weekend and holiday rotations

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 1 year of OR circulator experience including orthopedics, OB/GYN, and general surgery
• New graduates will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of OR circulator experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
