Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical services within the Urgent Care department, collaborating with providers, clinic staff, and management to ensure quality patient care and efficient use of resources.
- Offer leadership and direction to clinic staff to support efficient operation of all aspects of the clinic, including front desk and patient care functions.
- Maintain medication inventory, supplies, and ensure required quality control checks are completed for Point of Care testing.
- Clearly and accurately document all care and services provided in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist providers and staff by anticipating needs and communicating effectively across departments to support quality patient outcomes.
- Oversee the opening and closing of provider clinics and maintain a clean, safe working environment with adequate supplies and properly functioning equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Active, full, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alaska — must be active at time of submittal.
- Minimum of 2 years of urgent care experience, with experience occurring within the last 2 years.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proof of flu vaccine required.
- Must be available to complete fingerprinting promptly upon acceptance to avoid delays in start date.

- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to maintain effective working relationships across departments.
- Willingness to mentor and teach other staff members when appropriate.
