Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite | 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts between 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | 40 hours per week | Weekend rotation required | On-call required approximately once per month | Must be willing to take call on holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and circulating duties during cardiovascular surgical procedures

• Assist surgical team throughout cardiac surgeries, ensuring proper instrumentation and sterile technique

• Float to additional OR and sterile processing areas as needed

• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekend and holiday call coverage

• Adhere to all facility protocols, safety standards, and nicotine-free facility policies

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center

• Previous circulating experience required

• Recent and strong scrub experience on cardiac surgeries required

• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) license required

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or academic medical center environment

• Familiarity with sterile processing department (SPD) workflows

• Demonstrated ability to float across multiple OR settings
