Travel Registered Nurse – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 15-bed Level II Trauma Pediatric ICU at a 2:1 patient ratio
- Perform IV starts and blood draws as part of routine patient care
- Assist with TPT placements and other unit-level procedures
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including intensivists, respiratory therapy, dietary, and case management
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN EMR systems
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PICU experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current PALS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CRRT experience
- APHON certification
- Previous experience in a pediatric teaching hospital setting
