Travel Registered Nurse – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a 15-bed Level II Trauma Pediatric ICU at a 2:1 patient ratio
  • Perform IV starts and blood draws as part of routine patient care
  • Assist with TPT placements and other unit-level procedures
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including intensivists, respiratory therapy, dietary, and case management
  • Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN EMR systems
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PICU experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current PALS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • CRRT experience
  • APHON certification
  • Previous experience in a pediatric teaching hospital setting
