Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy assistant services to patients within a skilled nursing facility.
• Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and report to supervising therapists.
• Support patient engagement during therapy sessions to promote recovery and independence.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or certification.
• Ability to work in a healthcare setting with a focus on elderly or disabled populations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care and safety.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
• Familiarity with therapy tools and documentation software.
