Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a mixed-acuity unit serving both Progressive Care (PCU) and Medical-Surgical patients at a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and tracheostomy management as part of routine clinical duties
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity based on staffing needs
• Participate in a structured orientation program, including an initial week of day-shift orientation followed by on-unit orientation with a preceptor
• Submit self-schedule requests each scheduling period in accordance with departmental scheduling processes

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid RN license (compact or state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Demonstrated skills in IV starts, telemetry, and tracheostomy management
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience
