Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 4x12-hour shifts | 36 or 48 hours per week accepted

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to advanced care and mixed-acuity telemetry patients, including management of advanced care level drips
• Read, interpret, and monitor cardiac rhythm strips and EKG telemetry continuously
• Function within either a team nursing or primary nursing model depending on unit needs, collaborating with LPNs and PCTs to deliver patient-centered care
• Float to all Stepdown and Advanced Care units as assigned, including campuses within the local area
• Maintain availability to work every other weekend and holiday as required
• Complete required orientation modules (up to 24 hours) and annual competency requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (any state accepted; compact license accepted; temporary license available upon offer)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a large hospital setting
• Prior experience in an advanced care, stepdown, or telemetry unit
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Must pass an online EKG/Telemetry competency assessment prior to assignment start
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required or willingness to obtain prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 1 trauma center experience preferred; Level 2 experience accepted
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience with stepdown or advanced care patient populations
