Seasonal Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Projected Start: June 29, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to labor and delivery patients, postpartum patients, and high-risk antepartum patients across a 19-bed unit with PACU, triage, and L&D OR rooms
- Direct and coordinate all nursing care through the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Support vaginal and cesarean section deliveries in a high-acuity environment
- Utilize fetal heart rate monitoring equipment including Novii and GE monitors, and fetal scalp electrodes (FSE)
- Document and manage patient care using EMR systems (CPN and Meditech)
- Maintain patient ratios of 2:1, adjusting to 1:1 for complicated patients as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NRP certification
- AWHONN or EFM certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in Mother/Baby care
- Pediatric and/or NICU nursing experience
- Flexible, friendly, and dependable personality well-suited to a fast-paced team environment
