Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit with a focus on spinal, neurological, and trauma cases including gunshot wounds and patients with paraplegia and quadriplegia
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in alignment with unit protocols
• Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings using the EPIC electronic health records system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition, escalating care as appropriate

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with Nursys verification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical nursing specialty
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Current BLS/CPR certification (card required)
• Completed skills checklist specific to Medical/Surgical nursing
• Work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for spinal, neurological, or trauma patient populations
• Familiarity with care of patients with paraplegia or quadriplegia
• Strong clinical documentation skills within a high-acuity inpatient setting
